FAQs, or what I assume people want to know more about me

How do you pronounce ‘Raewyn’?
Real easy: “ray-win”. You can also just call me ‘Rae’ since it’s much easier.

Do you still do freelance work?
Yes! I can proofread, write and come up with brand campaigns! Email me at raewyn.kxy@gmail.com and I’ll send over my rate card. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we can always negotiate a deal.

What do you do for fun?
Like most Singapore girlies, I’m a pilates princess and spin cult member, so you’ll find me in studios most evenings.

I love learning new things. In the past couple of years, I’ve learnt how to DJ, sew, and am currently studying Italian and Thai.

If we’re close enough, I’ll even let you in on my private podcast of dating mishaps in Singapore.

How many places have you travelled to?
26: Australia, Cambodia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, Fiji, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Vatican City, Vietnam.

Blessed to a holder of the world’s no. 1 passport.

Is this really your entire portfolio?
No, just my greatest hits.

What kind of stories do you like working on?
I love doing personality profiles. Part of the fun is letting others do the talking :) I’ve met some wonderful people through the interviews I’ve done and I love showcasing sides of them that are usually hidden from the public eye.

The ones with Ng Yeow Meng (WingsOverAsia), Elliot Barratt (Elliot James Interiors), Peter Ng (Maduro) and Lou-Ann Seet (Vice-Chairman, Asian Business Aviation Association) are my favourites.

Best memories of your job?
All the travelling – I’ve had the opportunity to visit so many places I’d never otherwise would have gone on my own. I also got to lease a Lamborghini for a day – that was incredibly fun. Unfortunately never got to fly on a private jet but have had the privilege to see many in hangars (still exciting)!
